Zahra Institute’s online application form is hosted by Google Forms managed by the institute via Google’s secure web server. You will sign in with your Gmail account or create a Gmail account to begin the application so that you can return to continue your application over several sessions and check your status after submission. After you submit your application, it is made available for review by our faculty and staff.

All the documents including Academic Transcripts, Resume/CV, Test Scores, Statement of Purpose, and Letters of Recommendation should be uploaded during application form submission. All the required documents are uploaded to Zahra Institute’s secured Google Drive which only the admissions committee can access.

The application fee ($30) is non-refundable and should be paid during the application submission.

Three letters of recommendation are required. Letters should be written by professors or scholars who can attest to your abilities and qualifications and inform us of your academic potential in your chosen area.

Recent transcripts are required. Please upload a copy of your transcripts/academic records. A transcript copy is preferred, but a grade report is permitted, when necessary. Transcripts that are in a language other than English should be translated into English. The translation must be certified to be an accurate translation of the original. Both non-English and translated transcripts should be uploaded. Transcript evaluations from credential evaluation services that contain course and grade information may be accepted as unofficial transcripts.

All submitted materials must include:
- Your name
- The name of the institution
- Course names and grades
- Any academic comments that would appear on an official transcript

Applicants must submit a copy of their CV. Please upload your CV during submission of the application form.

Applicants to the Zahra Institute Master’s Program who do not meet the criteria below must submit proof of English language proficiency. Only the TOEFL iBT or IELTS Academic tests are accepted as proof of proficiency.

    Speaking - 20+
    Writing - 17+
    Reading - 18+
    Listening - 17+

IELTS - 5+ across 4 skills

Waiver Criteria
You do not need to submit English proficiency scores if English has been a primary language of communication and schooling for you since childhood; or you spent at least one academic year in coursework at an accredited English-medium institution in one of the following countries or territories within the past ten years: Australia, Bahamas, Canada, Hong Kong, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, United Kingdom, United States. Education in English-medium institutions in other countries or territories does not qualify for the exemption.

All applicants will submit a 500 word statement of purpose, describing their interest in pursuing the MA degree at Zahra Institute and their academic and professional goals.
